The cognitive dissonance is astounding... Tobi Hill Meyer talking of how, as a nine year old she feared "police would show up and rip me away from my moms" while simultaneously supporting legislation that allows the state of WA to kidnap children from their parents at a time they are most vulnerable. I've been 13 before and I put myself in horribly risky situations in defiance of my parents. Maybe it's time to leave. Those of us seeking "sanctuary" from this madness.
Thank you for opening people's eyes and minds. I think many who support trans only see a small portion of what they represent. I dont care about what people do behind close doors. I have a problem with sexualizing young children by exposing them to pornographic books & videos in schools, and parades where people are revealing their genitals. It seems Ike we're being forced to accept this type of behavior. I know majority of the population do not want this for our children and society, but the media are trying to brainwash us to think it's widely accepted. I finally caught on the media are propagandists, corrupt, liars, and do not have our best interests. People have to be free thinkers, and research all sides to get the full picture. Don't fall into tribalism because all parties are corrupt.. We have to support candidates who have integrity and guts to stand up against corruption. Most importantly, fight for their constituents that brings real results, not lip service.
You have a gift of writing so don't stop. We need truth tellers who aren't afraid to speak up. Thank you!
You are so right about the Procession. I grew up doing it every year. That is the embodiment of what Olympia was and what made it great. We have fallen further and further from that vision.

Seems like Toby Hill and others that support her are way too focused on sex and sexual pleasure. That is important but surely not to the degree that she supports. We are all way more than our sexual drives or our gender identity. Someone like Hill should never have been hired to be in the position that she now fills with The City of Olympia.
